1. Files and text you use with our tools

The PDF, image, text, calculator and most developer tools run entirely in your web browser. Files you select are read into your device's memory, processed there, and never uploaded to MixTool or stored by us. When you close the page, the data is gone.

Some tools need to contact a server to do their job:

• Website and SEO checkers (for example the redirect, header, SSL or sitemap checkers) send the URL or domain you enter to our server, which fetches the public page or record and returns the result. We do not log the URLs you check beyond short-lived technical logs used to keep the service running.
• IP and location lookups use public IP geolocation services, and the currency converter loads exchange rates from a public rate feed.
• Speech to Text uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. Some browsers, including Google Chrome, process that audio on the browser maker's servers.

2. Information we collect automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used and how the site performs. It collects information such as the pages you visit, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. It does not receive the files or text you process. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, time of request and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

3. Cookies and local storage

MixTool stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visits. If we show advertising, our advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where you have agreed to them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the tools keep working without them.

4. Emails you send us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your details.

5. Children

MixTool is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we don't run accounts, we usually hold none — but you can contact us at support@mixtool.online with any request.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top. See also our terms of use.
