Brand your photos and discourage copying
A visible watermark tells people who made an image and makes it less tempting to reuse without credit. Add a line of text such as © 2026 Your Name or upload your logo, then set the size, opacity, angle and position with a live preview.
Choose a single mark in any of nine positions, or a tiled pattern that covers the whole picture — harder to crop out. Load many photos at once and the same watermark is applied to all of them at full resolution, downloaded together as a ZIP.
How to watermark photos
- 1
Add your images
Select one or many photos. Use the arrows to preview each one.
- 2
Create the watermark
Type your text (with font, colour and outline) or upload a logo — a transparent PNG works best.
- 3
Place it
Pick a corner or the centre, or switch to a tiled pattern. Adjust opacity, size and rotation.
- 4
Download
Save one image, or all of them as a ZIP.
Key features
Text or logo
Use your name, website or brand logo.
Nine positions or tiled
A discreet corner mark or full coverage.
Readable on any photo
An optional outline keeps light text visible on bright areas.
Scales with each image
Size is relative to the photo width, so the mark looks the same on every size.
Batch and private
Watermark hundreds of images without uploading them.
Common uses
- Photographers: Share previews with clients without giving away clean copies.
- Online sellers: Mark product photos so competitors can't reuse them.
- Documents and ID copies: Add a note such as “For bank KYC only” to a copy of an ID card.
Tips and good to know
- Opacity around 40–70% is visible without ruining the photo.
- A tiled watermark at an angle is much harder to crop or clone out than a small corner mark.
- Watermarking PDFs? Use the PDF Watermark tool.
- Remove hidden location data before sharing with the Image Metadata Viewer.
