Clean up any list in seconds

Merged contact lists, exported keywords and copied URLs are full of repeats. Paste the list here and every duplicate line is removed instantly, keeping the first occurrence and the original order.

Choose whether “Apple” and “apple” count as the same, whether trailing spaces matter, and whether to drop empty lines or sort the result. The counters show how many lines came in, how many repeats were removed and how many remain.

How to remove duplicate lines

  1. 1

    Paste your list

One item per line — or open a .txt or .csv file.

  2. 2

    Set the options

Ignore case, ignore surrounding spaces, remove empty lines, sort A → Z.

  3. 3

    Copy the result

Or download the clean list as a text file.

Key features

  • Keeps the original order

    Only later repeats are removed.

  • Case and space options

    Treat near-identical lines as duplicates.

  • Live statistics

See exactly how many duplicates were removed.

  • Handles big lists

Hundreds of thousands of lines, processed locally.

Common uses

  • Email and contact lists: Avoid sending the same email twice.
  • SEO keyword research: Merge keyword exports without repeats.
  • Data cleaning: De-duplicate IDs, URLs or product codes.

Tips and good to know

  • Lines must match completely to count as duplicates. To remove repeated words inside a sentence, a different approach is needed.
  • Sorting after de-duplicating makes lists easier to scan — try the Text Sorter for more sort orders.

Frequently asked questions

Which copy of a duplicate is kept?

The first one. Later identical lines are removed and the order of everything else stays the same.

Can it ignore capital letters?

Yes. Turn on “Ignore upper/lower case” so “Delhi” and “delhi” count as the same line.

Is my list uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, which is important for customer data such as emails.
