Rich cards on X
Twitter cards turn a plain link into a rich preview on X. Choose summary with large image (the most eye-catching) or summary with a small square thumbnail, add the title, description and image, and see a live X-style preview.
Add your site's and the author's @handles, an image description for accessibility, and check the image meets X's minimum sizes. You can import the existing tags from any page. X falls back to Open Graph tags, so if those are already set you may only need the card type.

Do I still need Twitter card tags if I have Open Graph?
Only twitter:card is essential; X falls back to Open Graph for the title, description and image.
What image size works for summary_large_image?
At least 300 × 157 px, up to 4096 × 4096 px and under 5 MB. 1200 × 628 px is a good choice.
Why isn't my card showing?
X caches cards and needs the page to be publicly reachable. Check the tags are in the <head> and the image URL is absolute.
